262 - An Episode of Art
- It's going around, covid!
- South Park: Pandemic Special. I haven't watched SP for over 15 years, but if this ep is any indication it is just as sharp as it's ever been. The way the show marries social issues is still clever. Still just as crude. I didn't know it was still going and 23 seasons in.
- The original Twilight Zone
- Few school books do I remember as vividly as my 10th grade lit book. It introduced me to stories that still remain in my consciousness. An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, The Greatest Game. It was full of great literature that I didn't appreciate at the time, but that's how school goes. Owl Creek is a great story. Written in 1891. The impetus for a lot of movie ideas.
- The Twilight Zone featured an episode telling the Owl Creek story, very good.
- "That's not who I am." As it applies to Thom Brennaman, Lori Loughlin. That's exactly who you are. Maybe this will help you change, but...

- DMCA takedown notices for my movie reviews
- Drafting plans for a co-worker. At no point did they ask me to do it for free, but I'm going to be a bit more lenient on the price because I like the co-worker.
- That leads to, what do you do for free and for whom. Only immediate family? Cousins, aunts, and uncles.
- The other side for me is the level of skill. When I was a short lived videographer, people wanted that done for free. I see it as, you're asking me because I'm the only person you know that can do that, your alternative is to pay a stranger, why not pay me.
- Bottom line my free time is mine and I'll use it however I want.
- The older generation likes to crap on millenials, but the millenials
figure it out. I had an email "i can read this document send pdf" It
was a unfamiliar file format.

238 - Ending Isolation
- Is 'I'm tired of self quarantining' a legitimate reason to open businesses back up?
- With this podcast, the amount of risk is very low if we resume normal procedures, but do I set an example that doesn't matter since I don't want to be in the group of people that swarm with things being open. There is no doubt we'll see a rise in cases. We have other states as an example. Are businesses opening because we have enough hospital beds based on projections or is everyone bored? That's the core question.
